Marian's Songbook

I can imagine many wonderful things.

I close my eyes and dream of places I've never been.

I think of tiny fairies and horses who have wings,

But I could not imagine the age of the dinosaur, the age of the dinosaur.

Stegosaurus, brontosaurus, tyrannosaurus rex,

Muttaburrasaurus, triceratops.

These are the dinosaurs who lived so long ago,

Crashing through the forest looking for some food.

This was the age, the age of the dinosaur, the age of the dinousaur.

Pterodactyl, ichthyosaurus, archaeopteryx,

Ankylosaurus, iguanodon.

Some could swim and some could fly and some moved very slow.

The world was a strange and wonderful place.

This was the age, the age of the dinosaur, the age of the dinosaur.

So close your eyes and think of the creatures we have sung.

Of all that God's created, what wonders to behold,

And thank our heavenly Father that we are here today,

When we can all imagine, the age of the dinosaur, the age of the dinosaur.
